Journal of Japanese Language and Society Applied Research (JLSAR) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal published by Politeknik Takumi, Indonesia. The journal publishes original research and applied studies related to Japanese language, linguistics, education, translation, communication, culture, society, business, technology, and professional practices.

Scope: Japanese Language and Applied Linguistics; Japanese Language Education; Translation and Interpretation; Japanese Society and Culture; Intercultural Communication; Japanese Business and Workplace Communication; Japanese Studies; Hospitality and Tourism; Digital and AI-assisted Japanese Language Learning; and other interdisciplinary applied studies related to Japanese language and society.
